MycoMarin Members Potluck – May 18, 2019

We were so inspired by Chad Hyatt’s cooking demonstration at last month’s MycoMarin meeting we decided to do a Members Potluck so we can share some delicious recipes, preparation, storage, foraging tips, and get to know each other a little better!

This will be our first (of hopefully many!) potlucks and we look forward to you joining us.  Space is limited, so if you are interested, RSVP to reserve your spot.

Seating Maximum: 

14 if weather is cold/rainy, 20 if warm and we can dine al fresco



By May 7, 2019 to Myco@MycoMarin.org with ‘Members Potluck’ in the Subject Line – Your Name (if other members joining you, their name), and we will send out an email with a confirmation of your participation and details on how to sign up for the potluck categories.


Menu Theme:

Foraged Mushrooms (fresh, dried, or purchased) for this first potluck, you can let the season inspire you or share a favorite mushroom recipe.


Participation (with RSVP):

  • Potluck dish of choice (more details under Menu section in confirmation email). When RSVPing, please be sure to state the name and category of your dish and if you have any food allergies or restrictions.
  • $10/person cash donation for MycoMarin general fund
  • Bring your own to-go containers for leftovers!
  • Bring your own beverage. BYOB – seriously, members may spend good $$$ on wine, but don’t assume you get a glass without asking or being offered. Please bring your own, and enough to share, or not.
