Mushrooms in Japanese Cuisine Cooking Demonstration

Join us and be ready to engage in all your senses! It will be a delicious evening as we join Kiki LeSeed in an exploration of cooking mushrooms in Japanese cuisine.

Kiki will discuss different types of mushrooms and some key ingredients to stock a Japanese pantry. Learn about Japanese culture and cooking techniques during the cooking demo. Hear about local producers cultivating the bounty of our bio-region. Taste some common and not-so-common varieties of mushrooms and come away inspired to prepare some dishes at home.
